Following Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of Disaster declaration in South Africa, he instituted strict and necessary lockdown measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
While most of our in-school programmes are paused due to school closures, the Trevor Noah Foundation is even more committed to ensuring that South Africa’s most vulnerable youth have access to quality and nutritious food during this time of uncertainty.
To achieve this, we’re playing our part by financially supporting FoodForward SA, a frontline nonprofit addressing food insecurity by providing critical food provisions to vulnerable groups across South Africa. Together, we can minimize the degree of hardship our country experiences during this time.
