It is crucial to understand how far we have come as a Foundation. Though only in existence for a short time, we strive to ensure that we are continuously improving ourselves in how we better the lives of high school learners and educators. In our commitment to monitoring and evaluation, last year we conducted an impact study to understand our strengths, weaknesses, and milestones thus far.
From these stats it’s evident that the Khulani School programme’s holistic approach not only deals with the learners at a school level, but also ensures that the students are mentally healthy, food secure, and self-aware about future choices best aligned to their skills and personality.
While our matric 2019 students are still being placed, we already know that the transition rate into post-matric opportunities has increased since last year, meaning that our holistic programmes are working.
